Washington, D.C. – Luck is in the air! DC Lottery is set to launch its Winning Wednesday event series today at 11 a.m. at Georgia Avenue Food Barn in NW.

Today, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Lucky Lottery Mobile, DC Lottery’s mobile truck, will be at Georgia Avenue Food Barn handing out branded merchandise and giveaways. Players that purchase at least $30 in scratchers will be entered into a contest to win over $5,000 in cash and prizes. Contest entries from each Winning Wednesday event will be combined, and the contest drawing will be held on October 12, 2023, at the conclusion of the event series.

“We’re excited to get the Lucky Lottery Mobile back on the road now that Spring is upon us,” said Jayre Reaves, DC Lottery’s Director of Marketing and Communications. “The Winning Wednesday program is a great opportunity for us to highlight DC Lottery retailers and connect in person with players in all eight wards.”

Winning Wednesday is a series of 20 in-store events that run today through September 27, 2023.
