Millionaire for Life is an exciting new jackpot game that started on February 22, 2026. The game offers the best odds of winning the top prize and was designed to produce more daily winners. Millionaire for Life tickets are $5 per play. There are nine ways to win, including the top prize of $1 MILLION a year for life and the second prize of $100,000 a year for life. Other cash prizes range from $8 to $7.500. The game is available at all retail locations, on the iLottery platform and on the Official DC Lottery App.

How to Play
Pick up a Millionaire for Life play slip from your retailer. Fill out the play slip and hand it over to your retailer to receive a ticket. Check your tickets carefully. Millionaire for Life tickets cannot be cancelled.
You must purchase your Millionaire for Life Tickets by 10:15 pm EST on the day of the drawing.
Choose Your Numbers
Select five numbers between 1 and 58 for the white balls, then select one number between 1 and 5 for the green Millionaire Ball®. Choose your numbers on a play slip or let the lottery terminal randomly pick your numbers.
Drawings are held daily. Players win a prize by matching one of the 9 ways to win. The jackpot is won by matching all five white balls and the green Millionaire Ball in order.
Jackpot winners may choose to receive their prize by annuity with guaranteed payments over 20 years OR a one-time cash payment. Both advertised prize options are prior to federal and jurisdictional taxes.

WHAT ARE THE PAYMENT OPTIONS:
Jackpot winners may choose to receive their prize by annuity with guaranteed payments over 20 years OR a one-time cash payment. Both advertised prize options are prior to federal and jurisdictional taxes.
The ticket, not the play slip, shall be the only valid proof of the selections made and the only valid instrument for claiming a prize.

By purchasing a ticket, you agree to be bound by all rules and regulations of the DC Lottery.
