DC Lottery Congratulates Another Million-Dollar Winner

Capital Fortune is a match-style scratcher game that launched in September 2019 as the DC Lottery’s first $30 scratcher. In 2020, Soon Yun became the first of three Capital Fortune $1 million top prize winners. On January 8, 2024, Moran claimed the last remaining top prize for this game at DC Lottery headquarters.
DC Lottery welcomed its first million-dollar winner of the year on January 2, when Pamela V. cashed in a $2 million POWERBALL ticket that her husband gave her as a Christmas gift. Pamela’s winning ticket was purchased at the Capitol Hill Safeway for the drawing held on Saturday, December 2, 2023.
