Let's hear it for William Lindsay of Woodbridge, VA who won $1,000,000 with the D.C. Lottery's Powerball for the April 25, 2012 drawing. A retired 27-year Marine veteran, Lindsay says he was just about to toss his winning ticket when he decided to check. "I checked. I checked again. And, then I took my blood pressure medicine," he said after learning that he had a $1 million ticket. This winning ticket was purchased at Congressional Exxon, 200 Massachusetts Avenue, N.E., which also sold a winning $200,000 Powerball ticket in 2010 and a $10,000 Powerball ticket in 2011.
