Every day for the past 10 years, Tolbert Strong has played the DC Lottery's family of numbers games. He has a special list of numbers for each game, but his numbers for DC-5 he considers extra special. "My friends all know that I play combinations of the number 6," he said confidently. When the DC-5 results were revealed for the 11/17/14 evening draw, he was alerted by one of his friends immediately. "One of my friends called and congratulated me on a win that I didn't know about, just because he knows the numbers I always play," he smiled. This prompted him to check and he had won $25K! The last time the straight 6's winning combination appeared in 2013, Tolbert was on vacation. "The only time I did not play these numbers, they came out. I promised myself that it would never happen again," he laughed.
