"I felt like crying," recalled Salamatu Koroma about finding out that she had won $200,000 with POWERBALL, her favorite D.C. Lottery game. A friend called her at work and said, "I think your numbers came in." Koroma was overcome by disbelief. "Are you telling me the truth?" she questioned. For the May 26, 2010 POWERBALL drawing, Koroma matched the five white balls: 1-6-10-13-20 correctly to win $200,000. The Northeast resident missed the red PowerBall number, which was 32. She said she plays the same numbers all of the time, and plans to save the money for her young daughter's education. "That is most important right now."
