Richard G. of Washington, DC won a $50,000 top prize with the Triple 555 scratcher. The 85-year-old recalled growing up in the Old Southwest neighborhood of DC, and how the city has changed during his lifetime. "I came all the way from going to segregated schools to seeing someone who looked like me in the White House. I think I'm winning at life," he chuckled. Mr. G. said his wife was the first person he called after realizing he'd won. She was at work, and I told her all about it. When asked of any plans for his big win, he artfully responded, "I think she's got it from here."
