Patricia Mills

Patricia Mills of St. Pleasant, MD, was reserved when she claimed $75,000 from a single winning DC 5 ticket. Recently laid-off after more than 30 years of service with a local brokerage firm, the regular D.C. Lottery player says her winnings will go a long way to pay bills and help two granddaughters with their college tuition.  The winning ticket was purchased at Skip's Liquor, 405 61st Street, N.E. Since its launch in July 2009, there have been six $25,000 winners.
