"I was trying to win a $100 gas card. Then, I got the call that I had won the car," said Andrewnette Martin of Oxon Hill, Maryland. She won a 2011 Ford Fusion Hybrid in the D.C. Lottery's Washington Auto Show Second Chance Drawing. Martin received a Facebook message from a friend asking if she had won the car because her name was posted on the D.C. Lottery's website. "I went to the website [dclottery.com] to see if my name was there," laughed Martin. "I printed the page and showed it to my husband, daughter, and coworkers. I wanted them to see that you have to enter these contests. You never know. You just might win."
