The DC Lottery is proud to host its inaugural Retailer Excellence Awards & Appreciation Luncheon (REAL Awards) on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at The Wharf’s Dockmaster Building. This signature event celebrates the outstanding achievements of our retailer partners—the frontline champions who drive lottery sales, connect with players, and strengthen our community every day.

With the theme “Celebrate what’s REAL in retail excellence,” the luncheon will spotlight more than 30 top-performing retailers across multiple categories, including overall sales, scratcher sales, Fast Play, monitor and jackpot games, year-over-year sales growth, and long-standing legacy retailers with over 40 years of partnership.

The celebration will feature a lively mix of awards presentations, interactive trivia games, raffle prizes, an industry best-practices session, and a retailer photo experience, along with a networking dessert reception. Beyond honoring exceptional retailers, the REAL Awards underscore DC Lottery’s commitment to supporting small businesses, fostering community partnerships, and investing in the local economy.
