New ‘Double Draw’ Promotion Offers Players Second Chance to Win with DC 3 Evening Game
WASHINGTON, DC – The DC Lottery is kicking off this November by introducing the DC 3 Double Draw promotion. This limited-time winning opportunity is available all month and gives DC 3 players a second chance to win in the game’s evening drawings, held daily at 7:50 p.m.
Participating in the Double Draw promotion is as simple as playing DC 3! The DC 3 evening drawings will occur as scheduled during the promotion period, and no additional cost or action is required to participate in the promotion. Immediately following each DC 3 evening drawing, a special drawing will determine whether the Double Draw will occur.
How the Double Draw works:
After each DC 3 evening drawing, one ball will be selected at random out of a pool of six WHITE balls and one RED ball.
- If a WHITE ball is drawn, a Double Draw drawing will not occur. That ball is then removed from the pool, increasing the probability of the RED ball being drawn.
- If a RED ball is drawn, a Double Draw drawing occurs, and a player has a second chance to win with the same ticket they purchased.
- Once the Double Draw occurs, the pool resets to six WHITE balls and one RED ball for the next DC 3 evening drawing.
- During the promotional period, all DC 3 tickets purchased for the evening drawing (7:50 p.m.) are eligible to win in the main drawing AND the Double Draw, should it occur.
DC 3 is a three-digit game with nine ways to win and a single top prize of $500. Additional prizes vary from $25 to $500. Just $.50 to play, drawings for the DC 3 game are held three times a day, at 1:50 p.m., 7:50 p.m., and 11:30 p.m., seven days a week.
DC 3 tickets are available at all DC Lottery retail locations, the DC iLottery platform, and the DC Lottery app.
