WASHINGTON, DC– The Mega Millions jackpot has experienced yet another bump. Currently at an estimated $900 million for Friday night’s drawing, this is the highest jackpot ever for the Mega Millions game and the second-largest jackpot in US lottery history. The cash option for this record-shattering prize is an estimated $513.4 million.

With every jackpot roll and increase, Mega Millions is inching its way toward eclipsing the largest jackpot record in US lottery history--the $1.586 billion Powerball jackpot set in January 2016. Results of Friday’s game could also smash the record for the largest jackpot won on a single ticket in the US-- $758.7 million collected on a single ticket for the Powerball game played on August 23, 2017. Friday’s Mega Millions drawing will be the 25th since the jackpot was last hit July 24, for $543 million.

Tickets for the Mega Millions game are $2 each and can be played in Washington, DC, 44 states, and the US Virgin Islands. Drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at 11:00 p.m. ET.

Tonight’s Powerball jackpot is an estimated $345 million with a cash option of $199 million. This is the 19th game played since the jackpot for this game was hit August 1, for $245.6 million. Powerball tickets are $2 each and can be played in Washington, DC, 44 states, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. Drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. ET.
