A month ago, Monique Randall of Huntingtown, MD started playing DC 5 after a friend suggested that she do so. Since then, she's been playing the same numbers, and on July 13, 2010, she won $50,000 with the evening drawing. "That night, before I went to bed, I looked at the TV. I just screamed, then screamed some more," an excited Randall recalled about realizing that she had won $50,000. Grateful for the win, Randall said she took her time claiming her prize because she had to work and needed time for the win to sink in. "I'm going to pay off a few bills, and I'd like to take a cruise to Hawaii someday," she noted. "I want to spend it wisely."
