Markel Joyner of Washington, DC won a $50,000 top prize playing the Red Hot Cash instant scratcher. Mr. Joyner says his win was unexpected and almost didn't happen. "I was very surprised. I wasn't sure if I had won or not," said Joyner revealing that he'd nearly tossed the ticket. We're glad he held on and grabbed a top prize.
