Charles Chiochankitmun of Maryland was in his car when he scratched his way to $50,000 with the D.C. Scratcher Diamond Dazzler. The 24-year old systems engineer says he was looking for a $5 D.C. Scratcher to play and started scratching as soon as he got to his car. Upon verifying his win, he told his mother. Her response was, "You can take me to dinner or a vacation. You pick!"
