"Scratchers are fun," said Catherine T. Jackson, who won a $250 gift card in the D.C. Lottery's Pink Panther Second Chance Drawing Contest. Jackson said she plays all of the new D.C. Lottery scratchers and found out about the second chance drawing by reading the back of the ticket. "My husband called me while I was shopping, and he doesn't normally do that," she laughed. "I was surprised that I won." Jackson's only definite plans for her gift card is to treat her husband of 39 years. "His birthday is coming up."
