The District’s newest holiday, First Wednesday, celebrates the launch of new scratchers, new prizes, and new chances to win! And thanks to DC Lottery, Washingtonians can now observe this holiday on the first Wednesday of every single month.
But don’t worry about getting a First Wednesday gift, it really is the holiday that gives back. In fact, since DC Lottery’s inception in 1982, it has contributed more than $2.3B to the District’s General Fund, helping to provide essential support services throughout the city.
This new holiday has even inspired some DC residents to wish one another a, “Happy First Wednesday.” So celebrate this month, and every month, with the newest scratchers from DC Lottery.
