Charitable Games Information

Charitable gaming enables nonprofit organizations to raise money to support programs and services for those in need.  Through the Charitable Games Department, the D.C. Lottery licenses nonprofit organizations to conduct raffles, Monte Carlo Night parties, and bingo fundraising events. 

During the past 20 years, the Charitable Games Department has issued more than 3,000 licenses to organizations that have raised more than $800 million for food, education, housing, health care, and other basic needs and services for residents of the District of Columbia.  Together, we can assist your organization in putting fun into your next fundraiser.
